About the Gobi March
Trace the footsteps of the legendary Genghis Khan across Mongolia’s vast, untouched steppe. The Gobi March and UltraLite (Mongolia) unfold amid sand dunes, rugged canyons, and endless horizons as competitors race up to 250 km / 155 mile over seven days. The race goes through the Khar Bukh Balgas Fortress, many stupas and temples, traditional Mongolian ger villages, the UNESCO World Heritage Centre of the Orkhon Valley, and finally ends at the Ancient City of Karakorum. Run beneath open skies where nomadic spirit endures—an unforgettable race through history, heart, and the untamed beauty on the edge of the Gobi Desert.
