RacingThePlanet UltraLite (Brazil) 2027 takes place in Chapada Diamantina – Brazil’s Lost World.

Every Stage of the course will pass at least one waterfall – some are higher than others, but all are amazing.

The event takes place in August 2027.

The highest point of the course is 1,037 meters / 3,402 feet.

The lowest point on the course is 321 meters / 1,053 feet.

The meeting place is Salvador, a vibrant Afro-Brazilian UNESCO Heritage city.

Total Elevation Gain: 5,273 meters / 17,300 feet.

Total Elevation Loss: 5,239 meters / 7,200 feet.

The race finishes in Igatú, known as the Machu Picchu of Brazil.

The number of UltraLite competitors is limited to 25.

UltraLite (Brazil) can be completed in a supported format – this means that a Camp bag will be transported for you from Camp to Camp.

The deadline for registering is 120 days before the race – 17 April 20267.

The course fully marked. No navigation is required.

The entry fee is US$3,300 until 120 days before. After 17 April 2027 this increases by US$300.

The temperatures are expected to be 30C / 86F during the day and 10C / 50F at night with a medium level of humidity.

Almost everything is included in the entry fee once you arrive in host town.

Accommodation is provided for nine nights – one night in a hotel before the race, and seven nights in tented accommodation during the race at six different Campsites, and one night in a hotel after the race. 

The best time to visit Chapada Diamantina is May to September.

Chapada Diamantina is a protected National Park region and is recognised as a paradise for outdoor adventures.
