Equipment

UltraLite (Mongolia) competitors are required to bring the full list of mandatory equipment items.

You may choose to race self‑supported (carrying all your equipment) or supported (one bag is transported for you from Camp to Camp).

Certain items must be carried at all times while racing—these typically fit into a 10L backpack weighing around 5kg / 11lbs. All remaining items can be packed into your Camp bag, which must not exceed 60L.

You may bring more than the mandatory items, but you cannot bring fewer.

Some items can be purchased through the RacingThePlanet Store or Expedition Foods. Competitors receive a discount (email us for the code), but please note that shipping is not available to all countries.
