Antarctica Ultramarathon

The Antarctica Ultramarathon will give many participants the opportunity to complete a 5km, 10km, half marathon, full marathon and / or ultramarathon in Antarctica.  The Antarctica Ultramarathon will take place in one location during The Last Desert in Antarctica.  This iThe next step to confirm your place is to pay the entry fee! The non-refundable deposit of US$5000 needs to be paid to secure your place. The balance is due on 24 May 2024. You can also pay the full entry fee now. 

The Antarctica Ultramarathon is organised by RacingThePlanet - the most prestigious footrace series in the world, ranked by TIME Magazine as the “World’s Top Endurance Races” and profiled on BBC, ESPN, NatGeo, CNN, ABC, and NBC Sports.  

Racers of all levels, ethnicities and ages, from 19 to 80, compete in this race across the Final Frontier.  They are supported by the world’s most skilled professionals including expedition staff, wilderness medical doctors and volunteers. 

The 4 Deserts Ultramarathon Series encompasses the Atacama Crossing (Chile), Gobi March (Mongolia), Namib Race (Namibia) and The Last Desert (Antarctica). There is also the RacingThePlanet Ultramarathon – a separate race which moves to a new location each year. RacingThePlanet: The 20-Year Race will be held in the country of Jordan in September 2024.
