Good afternoon from Port Lock Roy,

We are now circling around Port Lock Roy but there was too much ice for the captain to send out the zodiacs to get to shore. So all passengers are remaining on board. Even then, we are all happy sitting on deck to look at the scenery. We are surrounded by beautiful floating iceberg. They look like beautiful pieces of meringue, perfectly white with a hint of turquois.

I'm leaving Ho Chi Minh City for the race in the coldest desert really soon! It's going to be an journey over 50 hours to get to Ushuaia, the Southern tip of Argentina. Then we will be boarding an expedition ship toward Antarctica. 2000-km later

What you are doing this year is amazing. You are putting Vietnam on the map! I would love to know how many other people from Vietnam have ever been to Antarctica?!
