MERCI

The training is going pretty well. Pressure is more and more strong. Sometimes I ask myself if the harder is here at home, I wish it in all cases. This is what allows me to continue training and to hope that the race will be softer than all those hours spent running to face The Last Desert.
This weekend will be busy with more than 70 km run and walk....

I'll try to explain why.
I know heat and sun to have lived in Africa and even in my country Lebanon, the summer is very hot, but snow & cold is a big unknown for me.
So I wonder how to approach this race.
1- Is it necessary to train in a cold room as some have done?
2- Should we say, after all we only die once so take your courage with two hands and rushed into the unknown.
My goals in all the races was to finish.
This race here is different from the other: Its remoteness, the time it takes to get to the place of the race, the cost too much high, the small number of participants, the place!!? ... the South Pole, Antarctica, you realize he should say to his friends, his family and his entourage ... I'll run in the south pole ... the guy completely crazy ... why? What fly has bitten?
The penguins that will see us running on their territory will say: these may be people who are rejected by their societies. Be treated this way after so much sacrifice, it is distressing.
Finaly, do not think I want to be the first, I mean WIN, finish the race. That all for the moment.
