Today we went inland felt the full wrath of the desert.

The sand was more compact than yesterday but the heat was treacherous. Reaching peaks of 38 degrees Celsius, we produced sheets of salt crystals on our shirts and could even see the heat wave through our sunglasses. The rocks were not forgiving either. Stephen
