Wow! Hiking/racing in the Sahara at night on a course lit with glow sticks and singing Italian songs? I can see all of it but I didn't about your Italian talents! Words fail at the immensity of the challenge you and have Pat have accomplished. I stand in awe. Congratulations and look forward to learning more when you return.

No words can express the emotion I'm feeling for the two of you (Pat and Patty). Completing this event (well, just a 10k left) with such courage and zest for living life to it's fullest. Thanks for each step! Not bad for 6 weeks of training! Marc

Patty -- are you sure Pat is there with you, because I have found about 5 pictures of you on the website, but only 1 of him and that was from before the race started! ;-) You two are UNBELIEVABLE!!

Patty and Pat- Hard to believe what you are putting yourselves through physically as i sit here on the 10th floor overlooking the fall colors. I would suspect any real estate challenge now looks rather insignificant compared to what you are facing. Continued good fortune and look forward to hearing some interesting stories of your "sharing" a tent with nine people I suppose when in Cairo!

Well, the patience I am learning while out on the course is not translating to the evening to wait in line to post a blog! So this will be an update for our first three days.

Hope you are both doing well after yesterday. Just e-mailed you at the office to say Hi and found out what you and Pat were doing. I am keeping you both in my prayers everyday. I wish you the best of luck. I am pulling for you!!!

Good luck Patty and Pat...I didn't include plane delays in your training program :-). I'll have to remember this for the next "crazy" even you both decide to do. Seriously, all the best. Be safe and make every move better than the last.
