THIS IS IT .

I will be leaving the comfort of my home in about 1 hour... can't wait to get there, not so much about the night flight to Darwin and the 6 hours of layover (am not complaining considering some of the stories that you can read on the other blogs) before getting to Kununarra.

Right now i feel a mixture of anxiety and excitement, similar to what you feel before an exam (for which you feel you had study for anyway). That being said I probably did not train hard enough for this but as the wise man said, you would rather get there undertrained than overtrained... so it took this to the letter and basically did nothing for the last week. I plan to get my legs working again tomorrow for a few km's but nothing else - too much packing left to do - more on this later...
