Hey! Good check-in. You will be fine. You have already passed the “3”. Pretend you are a camel and mound up sand and air under sleep pad! Run well and smart!

Debbie Murphy

You go!! Don’t let a little air defeat you!! You’re young, pile up sand with air like the camels do and get some awesome rest!! You rock!!

25 April 2018 03:30 am (GMT-06:00) Central Time(US & Canada)

Twas the night before my flight and I finally got my shoes. Seriously. After being told by the colbbler multiple times that they are ready and the cobbler losing them for a day then sewing the gaiter to the shoe so nothing was usable. I finally got it all fixed. Nothing like a little pre race stress right?

And suddenly 19 days has become 13 and before you know it you'll be on the start line. Good call on the gaiters (I think). No need to run any serious distance now - try to enjoy the taper.

28 March 2018 05:16 am (GMT-06:00) Central Time(US & Canada)

32 Days from now I will be starting the Sahara Race for the second time.

I'll see you on the start line Scott! I've had similar preparation; lots of injuries and self-doubt. I admire your determination mate, us first timers can learn a lot from you!
