Congratulations on completing a tough race. Was great to have you there and you did great in tough conditions. Good luck with the cycle challenge and the fundraising. From Winchester to the Skeleton Coast. It's a small world.

PETER!! Well done mate... just another "marathon", plus a sprint and you have cold beers at the finish line!! Use the rest day wisely and get the groin sorted... I know how it feels, that's how my Ecuador race was. You are nearly there and you CAN DO IT. Dig deep and enjoy the feeling crossing the finish line ... and the beers :) Cristina and I are cheering from the Kuwait Desert! Go go go :)

Keeping an eye on your blog Peter - what a challenge, sounds so hard and uncomfortable but an incredible experience and the commaraderie must be very uplifting. And that scenery !! Hope you rest well and look forward to hearing how the next stage goes. Good luck xx

Sharing with a local tribe sounds exciting. Wonder what's on the menu, seal curry? Whatever it is I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Hope your injury eases a bit. Take care and the best of British for next stage. Thinking of you Dad and Jill x79j

Hi Peter, my last two comments have been incomplete for some reason. Hope you get all this one. Don't push yourself too hard. Groin injuries can be painful and take a while to heal. I'm sure you know all this and I'm not trying to teach you to suck eggs. Hope the pain eases overnight. Good luck on next stage and take it easy. Dad and Jill x

Arrived safe and sound, luggage found me and after 34 hours of travelling wondering if my bag would get to me from Tokyo to the desert I was relieved to see it when it rolled through.
