The day of floating mountains and crystal growing:

Almost never feel sleepy during the day which is a nice feeling, yet at the same time feeling more exhausted from all the walking. The morning was slightly rushed and I had to abandon my morning ensure, but the rest of the day was a pretty much laid back pace. today

Hot and sunny day:

Had a pretty good sleep despite rocky ground as I found a nice spot somewhere between all of the sharp rocks. Same as the previous days, we woke slightly before 6am and had breakfast before changing and packing our bags. Wow what an experience. I would have collapsed within 2 seconds in this heat. Stay focused but most of all embrace the experiences. Imagine the stories you can tell your future grandchildren. Hope Stephen's injuries will get better.

The flight to Cape Town was delayed, and when it finally set off, the flight turned around 1.5hours in due to technical errors. After staying the night at a hotel in Frankfurt, I flew to Cape Town, reaching around 2am. As there were no flights at that time, we were brought to a hotel nearby and I spent an hour washing up and repacking my bag before taking the shuttle to the airport again to check for other flights that would get me to Namibia earlier as the replacement flight would bring me to Johannesburg before going to Walvis Bay. I remember your first marathon where you came back with really wobbly legs hahaha. Pace yourselves and have a wonderful time. We are always searching the website, Facebook, emails for news. So exciting even here. Almost, but not quite, makes me forget the extreme fear I had when it seemed your plane left Johannesburg but never arrived at walvis! Be safe and be happy:)
