Finally, I cut the goal tape after 77km run at overnight stage !!
Starting at 8:00am and finished at 20:15 or so, almost 12 hours running
05 May 2016 02:04 am (GMT+01:00) West Central Africa
Completed stage 4 (41km), Starting at 8:00am and crossed the finish line at 15:05
Today was really perfect, I could run 15% of the entire race while I walked almost all the racing course for the first 3 days
Big difference between today and previous 3 days lies solely in weighing less on my luggage as I ate up foods day by day

Crossed the finish line on Day 2
Today was really hard day,,, total distance was 42km with lots of ups and downs
Especially, there are mountaineous course with soft, sandy road, which put big fatigue on my knee and legs at the beginning of the stage

Complete Day 1 with total distance of 37km
Started at 8:00 and finished at 15:20
It was no bad start without any injure and trouble
On the course, I ran alongside the coast line and felt comfortable sea breath
Nevertheless, contrary to my initial expectation, it was so cold and windy weather that I had to wear down jacket for more than half of the course
Also, I once almost lost the course and ran off the course

Hi there !!
This is KENTA TAKAHASHI, who is a just beginner for this kind of extreme marathon
Living in Tokyo, Japan, I'm 28 years old with only 2 years experience of marathon and triathlon
Professionally, I'm engaging in Investment job, particularly private equity firm, for three and half years
Previously, I've worked for management consulting firm for two and half years
Personally, I love singing, traveling, and running (from very recently)
Regarding marathon, I completed full-maraton five times (In Italy, Germany, Japan), and my best time recorded was 3hrs and 34 min
The biggest reason why I challenge this opportunity is I'd like to assign myself new challenge, which is definitely out of my confort zone, so Sahara Race couldn't be more appropriate !!
Anyway, I'll share you some stories about prep, practice, and race exprience itslef here in my blog
So, it would be appreciated if you stay tuned to my blog during the race period
My best,
