I was thinking that your back pack must be getting lighter, just in time for the 50 miles long march. You never cease to amaze us. You have generated a lot of fans this week.XOXO Mom and Dad. :)

Well after three days and 30 hours I finally made it to the race host town of Swakopmund. I wish I could tell you how beautiful it is; however, I arrived here after dark. All I can update at this point is that my final bag is packed and I can here the Atlantic Ocean waves outside my room. Kind of weird to be on the other side of the ocean. Really makes you appreciate how big the ocean and the planet really is, and how small we really are. One funny thing that happened...I had this random porter helping me with my bags in Johannesburg, and all he wanted to talk about was how much he liked Donald trump, lol! He did say Hillary Clinton was a close second because Bill Clinton was really nice when he visited South Africa as president. Therefore Hillary will make a good president hah politics!
