Hi Everybody, Challenge for a Life (www.challengeforalife.com) is a challenge designed to promote and raise funds for 2 foundations: IRCAD (www.ircad.com) and CharityWater (www.charitywater.com) After crossing Australia, starting from Darwin to finish in Melbourne by bicyle in 24 days and 4000 km (www.cyclingforareason.com), I wanted to fight again for some great causes. Now, my plan is to complete The Sahara Race who is part of the 4 Deserts, named by TIME magazine as #2 on its list of the Top 10 Endurance Competitions in the world. It is a unique category of rough country footraces that take place over seven days and some 250 kilometers in remote and culturally rich locations around the world. Starting from October 28th 2012 and ending on November 4th 2012. Competitors must carry all their own equipment and food, are only provided with water and a place in a tent each day but are supported by professional medical and operations teams. My challenge is about running but also about challenging myself as I want to emphasize the role that each one of us has to play to protect our planet and at the end to show that sometime we have to go above our limits to be able to accomplish our wishes to create awareness about the fight against cancer and environment protection. I believe everyone can give something of their own for the welfare of others. However small my contribution might be, it seems crucial for me to help causes that so many volunteers are fighting for all around the world. For support their fights please feel free to give some donation to IRCAD and to CharityWater through the website www.challengeforalife.com

Bravo!

Congratulations Greg! Only 10 Km for the Pyramids. Hope for competitors that finish line will be at the Pyramids feet and not on their summits...In this case of course it's better to choose the lowest. I think it's Cheops the first one from the desert! Take care of the " bedouins Mechoui " for the last diner because the last time( very long ago) I ate it I was very ill for 3 days! Will you go to the swimming pool at the end? see you soon.

Greg, what do you prefer 80 km between Strasbourg and Colmar along fresh river, birds whistling around, cows having a respect look at you, dogs barking on your way or 80km you have just completed among sand, sun, sweat and... old whales skeletons. I suspect you to answer the second option...Well, anyway we are very proud of you...Difficult to come back to the civilization...No?

hi Greg! You are so lucky anyway!
