Hi sorry for the delay. Arrived at camp in the moonlight, white rock formations glistening. Amazing scenery. Day 1 all amazing scenery with lots of soft sand. Pack too heavy and it is warm! Make it to camp happy and intact.
Day 2 more beautiful rocks not as majestic as yesterday but fascinating shapes. Shelter on a rocky outcrop in the heat of the day to prepare for the last stage. Oce again back safe.
Day 3 THE DUNES what we are here for. Not sure Brian agreed with this. Tough multi climbs up and down the ridges. Long rest at the top before the gentler walk back to camp.
Tomorrow who knows what it will bring then the long day.
Having a great time even though it is very tough. Tent mates friendly and supportive.
