hi all,
many apologies if any of you have tried to get in touch with me...whilst I was away, my company switched network providers from O2 to Vodafone, and I haven't got the new sim yet, so my phone is out of action until tomorrow, Monday 12th Nov.
The feet have recovered and the body is up for resuming training this week...what next????

first off apologiess for not emailing and not blogging...why?
the intrenet connection in the middle of the sahara is very iffy....they,ve hardly had connection for us to use which is shit...
there are also 4 laptops between 80 competitors and staff...not good..
I tried blogging on Tuesday, wrote a massive one...went to hit publish and the internet connection went...very annoying.
Thanks for all the emails, I have read them daily...they are able to download everyones emails in one go and folders get distributed to each tent...they have been a massive help!!
We completed the 93.8km run an hour ago...hell, that was tough...over 20 competitors have dropped out, and I think we are now in the late 40's position wide....Tomorrow is a 10km finish and its all over.
My feet are in a very, very bad way! I will definitely be losing 4 toe nails and maybe more... I can hardly walk at the moment, let alonbe anything els, however with the aid of some serious pain killers i have got through it - my personal pain management has been tested to the max.
I had a pretty emotional day on Monday afternoon...was so tough and my blisters were excrutiating...took us 3hours to do 5km
