Ok,
So the big race is in like fifteen days and I am in final review of all my food/gear and have been training with the pack for like a month now and I still don't feel all that ready but I really need that third medal for some reason.

We have had some cool weather in Austin lately and that has made running my 5 to 10 mile per day runs a little more bearable.  I usually try and run 15 miles one to two days a week and I am going to add a couple of more long days in during this last hardcore week before easing off.

I am really looking forward to seeing old friends....

more later

Good heavens, Patrick, what happened!? I remember walking with you on the long stage of the Atacama Crossing 2004 and you seemed quite a cleancut sort of chap! Look forward to meeting your new incarnation in the Sahara!
