I am looking to complete in the Sahara 2008 event. I am based in Hong Kong, and was wondering whether there were other people from this part of the world competing?

Would be great to hook up with a couple of people for the odd traning session / chat.

What a relief - so well done on making it in 20 hours - can't wait to hear a first hand account. So relieved and hope you have time for a good rest before stage 7 - I assume tomorrow. You must be so chuffed - we are so cannot imagine how u guys feel.

Remember 4 rules 1) NEVER atttack on a downhill and 2) It's not how you start but how you finish. 3) Eat for tomorrow. 4) Save something in the tank for the last day ... you going to need it. Keep going mate, you doing great .. regards to all the other maniacs

Stage 2 done!! Well Done boet!! Already a great achievement. By now the shoulders & legs are sore but remember to keep a sense of humour and your body will go alot further. Good luck for stage three. Rhett,Dee,Michaela,& Brayden.

Yes I am sitting at the computer eagerly anticipating results and delighted to see you came in in such good time. Thought u wud be another 1/2 hr over 1st stage, all going well. Well done!! Also to Mally and Trevor. Scenery looks amazing.

Also based in Hong Kong - have not to date been able to do any training on sand would appreciate any advice on this in HK? Cheers Paul

Hi Mark, I am George, last sunday we met at Sai Wan village,usually at sunday I spent the time around at the hill trail,I am plan take the train at the beach with the heavy belongings. Hope we have chance to chat and train.
