Day 1, what a sagekoft sand for 32k then some hard sand. Pack weighed 8.2kg, body weight 87kg, so all stated off well.  Felt strong until29k when i then rolled my ankle going down a slowed, had to grit my teeth and limp thru to the finish line. severe pain and tons of uncomfort.  straightback to the tent adn RICE my feet mi9nusthe ice.  finally serviced about 6 hours and limped around camp, definately not a happy camper.  going to try and get some food down me and see how i feel tomorrow morning but looking very unlikely i can carry on.   very annoyed, gutted .......... sulking off to my tent now,   if no blog tomorrow and if my name disaapaears from the roster, then my worst fear has happened.
