Well this is the first post on this blog before we all go and i wanted to say hi to old and new competitors. I have had quite a few injuries from work but have over the last week started to do more, however i will definitely feel this one. Me and my children will be appearing on GMTV Daybreak show on Wednesday morning so for those who reside in the UK it would be great for your support.

Trig im seeing next to your name and others a "W" I hope this isnt the end for you mate and theres some type o. I can only guess if it is the case it has something to do with your knee and im pleased you managed to get yourself back. Gutted for you because I know how much this means to you. But you shouldn't allow your self to get down about it. You could have stayed at home and done nothing, you could have completed one and left it at that, but know u decided on something few would contemplate.

Tremaine should be on around 7:40am, so if you're in the UK, be sure to tune in. Tremaine, good luck. I hope this gives a huge boost to your fundraising efforts for such a wonderful cause. Sam H - RacingThePlanet

Best of luck, good to see you've got yourself a blog sorted for this race so that we can follow your progress. Must be about now you'll be on telly, good job, probably more scary than the race. Nick (Atacama)

Tremaine - Pete and I had a beer last night and raised a glass. Pete wants to know if you're carrying that 'lucky horseshoe' from Atacama?!! You are doing a great job - will be following you and sending loads of energy. Best Rob (and Pete 'the feet')
