Hey Ed,
Looks like the heat took a toll on a number of competitors yesterday. Total Bummer! Hope you're rehydrating and feeling ok today.

Edoir! Bummer to here you got sick but V happy to hear you pushed through. Maybe it's just because you've done so many now but it feels like this one really flew by! Some news from me, I got to the second round of interviews for my internship!! Had a whole day of being on and off the 2/3 I'll tell you all about it back in sg. GOOD LUCK DAD!!! Had to laugh at your sisters thoughts! Sounds like this is the hardest yet! Keep pluging away, think of it as practice for the next desert. Good luck & love ya

Wow
---and I thought I had it rough this morning, locking myself out of my apartment at 5:30am and walking around town for hours until the management company opened. Would that count as training for a desert race?

Hey Ed,
Congrats on hanging in there! Hopefully you'll be reading this after successfully completing the Big March. One does have to wonder though ... what does one do with an upset stomach in the middle of a wide-open dessert with hundreds of competitors around? Sounds like an ideal set-up for some potentially embarassing moments....
Only two more stages to go and you have to finish this one to get to The Last Desert, right? Keep on trekking!

Ed - I would gladly swap places :-)
One step at a time...just hang on to the heels of the man/woman in front. Mind over matter.
No Baywatch girls on the beach??
Keep going Ed

Ed, seals are good eating, should have stopped and made a flipper pie. Also, fantastic boots for soft sand. Keep going mate.

EDDIE! Hows the race going? ~ Just like you I've been making long treks, but just from couch to fridge. I'll say that DC is almost sing level humid but I'm assuming that sahara temps might be just a tad warmer? It sounds like things are going good - happy to see that all of your stuff and you got there in one piece. Keep us all posted! Good luck on day 3 !!! Lurve ya

Dude you must be dead as this blog is way too quiet. Hopefully all is well as I just sent you an awesome Patriots interview on life leadership and football from your favorite demi. You will want to see this one.
Had we know that you loved to run in the desert so much we would have booted you out of the car cubby hole on the way back from the Red Sea. That way we would have rolled to the gas station a bit faster.
Enjoy your time in the sun ! You have made a few cameos in the pics
