After a night at the gym to recover and dry and the stomach is holding food.

And I was able to fully enjoy this stage. Loved the landscape. And the course profile. Maybe also because it was only 30k.

Dario was so happy that he could run the stage. He is an inspiration!

You can really feel that everybody is happy they made it so far. It

This is Dario's friend and I'm so glad he helped you get through Stage 3! The last 2 days look like they were pretty brutal. I'm glad you guys are all in the gym resting and taking care of your blisters. You're in the home stretch now! Please give Dario a hug for me!!!

Very tough going through the first two CPs. Very low blood sugar left almost last from CP2. Pushed through the dunes with Paul. We helped each other dig deep.

After throwing up breakfast at CP1 and few meds to keep food in I was able to finish somewhat strong.

The support from other competitors is amazing. Tomar, and Dario helped me not to quit. Oh boy I was that close.

Rain. Well, it was wet today. Landscape is still amazing. Really enjoying it when not struggling.

Did not sleep

Now in camp for more than two hours andnothing stys in yet. For sure th next days will be interesting and will have to go slower.

I love the camaraderie and how everyone supports each other.

These races are so tough on the body. Boy it

Day one in the book.

Great scenery. Infinite steppe. Great company. Fun to run with buddies from the Atacama Crossing. But boy why do they have to run so fast!

I guess I somewhat learned from Atacama. Food was spot on. Need to increase salt intake to hopefully solve the cramping thing. Achilles are holding up.

Weather was great. Sunny and blue sky all the way. No rain.

Tomorrow will be a tough one. 50k. 3,000+ ft of elevation gain. Looking forward to it.

Moral is good. With lots of time to recover at camp.

Tomorrow is another day!

Hi Stephane! Looking good on photos! It seems you have a lot of fun and Gobi seems less dusty than Atacama :) You can do it! Fingers crossed, Robert
