Gobi March (2013) blog posts from William King

Today is my first blog on what is going to be a very long journey.  It's nearly 0900 and I'm in the office preparing for another day at work.  Training wise i'm working on my core strength with sit ups and press ups in the mornings.

The whole thing kind of becomes real when you look onto the website and scroll through the competitor list to find your name right there in front of you... King, William!!  I guess I'm blessed with a cool first name / surname combination but still whatever your name is, when you see it on there for the first time a wave of excitement comes over you and you begin to believe in yourself - that you can do it, you can prove eveyone wrong, you can complete the Gobi March 2013!!

Hi William, It's great to read your first blog, welcome to your first 4 Deserts event. The next 10 months may now seem like a long training goal but the time will fly once you get into it. Regarding to core strength - looking at your photo I think you have plenty : ) Enjoy training, shoot me a line if you have any questions about the Gobi March. Riitta from RacingThePlanet
