Hi all, another quick one to keep you updated on the CNCF Team, which I'm sure is your main focus at this point??!! Just reading some of the other blogs and it seems a lot of us are in the same physical and mental space....ready to get into it...enough of the training, particularly in the rain and wind, which is hopefully not something we'll get a lot of in the desert. As always, we're continuing to look for sponsorship - all funds raised will go directly to the kids of the Foundation in Vietnam and Mongolia - check out our Gobi specific website ... http://gobi.cncf.org ... and donate or get your friends to. Meantime, for those of you in HK, diary note Wed, 28th May (7.30pm) - we're having a fund-raising evening at a new bar, "The Place", 255 Queens Road Central, Sheung Wan - with all proceeds to CNCF. We're inviting all Gobi March and RTP past participants - it will be a fun evening, lots of chat about the Gobi, some local media interested in everyone's stories and a good chance to just hang out with like-minded people. $350 entrance fee, includes food, drinks and a raffle ticket. Please join us - call me if you need further details - 9260 5145. Look forward to seeing you there. Melissa

The CNCF team are continuing to train hard for the Gobi, with quite a few joint hikes around HK for those of us here, and plenty of interaction with our two overseas team members, Tan (Aust) & Charl (SA). All going well, although quite a few issues to deal with now we have full packs on. We
