Gobi March (2012) blog posts from Wendy Ho

15 June 2012 05:04 am (GMT+08:00) Beijing, Chongqing, Hong Kong, Urumqi

Sorry I couldn’t update you all on stage 4 as I came into camp really late around 8.30pm so I had to get my priorities sorted being my feet and stomach!

Stage 4 was tough as expected but absolutely beautiful we started the first leg with a climb up to a natural arch called Heaven’s gate at 2900m pretty steep going up so I went up slow the view at top was just out of this world. After that we were walking up and along ridges with amazing views across the valleys of the desert for maybe 15 km that was the technical part but I was fine with it being used to the trails in HK. I stopped and managed to take a few photos and played catch up with the Korean guys for a while. So far the trails have been majority rocky terrain with hardly any sand so I did not have to use my gaiters at all. They were a great bunch always encouraging me on in Korean and taking photos together. The last leg was tough on the feet again with the constant pounding from the rocks in the endless riverbeds we were walking through. I was not a happy bunny at the end and it was a very long slog to the finishing line. It was a tough 11-12 hours and I was so glad to get into camp by that point I had no appetite but forced myself to eat to prepare for the long day. It’s more difficult for the slower people like me as we don’t have that much time to rest for the following day. Every night it’s the same routine tending to the feet, sorting out the pack for the next day and trying to get a decent night’s sleep.

I was sad that my two Spanish tent mates Miguel and Quini pulled out due to injury and could not start stage 4. I hope they are resting well now.

Now for stage 5 the long day of 79km I finished it J I think I walked for a total of 19 hours, I came into camp around 3.30am cold and miserable last nightL I have realized that maybe I have overestimated my capabilities because it has been so tough for me to get through each day. It has definitely pushed me way past my limits both physically and mentally. People around camp are asking if I will do another one again and off course I replied with a big fat NO! It was pure torture and suffering that I paid for in the last 5 days but on the other hand I have learnt a lot about myself. There are some mega fit people out here and they are built like machines they finish each stage in an insane time it amazes me that they can do it consistently each day (Denvy you are a mega machine!!!)

Anyway back to stage 5 technically it was not difficult but just very long, one checkpoint at a time I was thinking throughout and telling myself I can do this. At one point the sky went dark, the wind was howling and rain! Can you believe it raining in the desert!? It was actually cold that I had to stop to put my jacket on. By about early evening  I was so happy to reach check point 5 at 50 km to get a hot drink and a little rest before the so called home stretch of 29 km to camp.  I joined my two tent mates Hayley and James for this stretch as it was going to get dark around 10ish so I didn’t want to walk alone. They set up a mean pace walking but I managed to keep up after popping 4 painkillers on route. Every step was pain in itself but I had to keep going.  We were following glow sticks all the way and when we finally saw the finishing line with the red banner in the distance my heart skipped with joy!! I got to sleep around 5 am after taking a substantial amount of time taking the tape of my battered feet to allow them to breathe. I woke up this morning with massive swelling in the feet and offcourse enlarged and new blisters.  I am putting off popping them! Its like a scene from a war camp here with the walking wounded hobbling around. Everyone is battered and I can’t understand why they would do another one of these races? There was a French man with half of the skin hanging off his foot that the doctor was fixing just now.

It will be short day tomorrow around 15km to the end and FINISHJ I am very looking forward to a long shower I haven’t looked into a mirror for the last 6 days and I dread to think what I look like. My hair is stuck to my scalp and nails are caked with dirt can’t wait to wash the Gobi off me.it has been one hell of a journey I have learnt a lot and the experience has been invaluable and on top of that I have met a great bunch of people.

I have just read everyone’s messages and emails. Thank you all for your wishes and jokes much appreciated. I haven’t let you down and I have done it! I am looking forward to celebrating with you and pigging out.

Meiling, Fi  you all can have a lie next weekend as there is no way I am going hiking, looking forward to the bubbly

STC students: thank you all very much for thinking of meJ

Denvy: my hardcore friend and I should say mentor, your tips and advice have been invaluable my tent buddies were impressed with my food packing. The poles were a great help thanks very much, looking forward to ABC kitchen yum yum: suckling pork and pavlova

There is now a long line up for the computers sorry if I haven’t thanked you here, it was great to read that you all have been following my progress I feel so fortunate and specialJ

Take care everyone and see you all very soon.

Whoopee I made itJ

Wow Wendy... Awesome.. I've really enjoyed reading your blog. Stage 5 sounds awful but you made it, stage 6 is also completed now... Congratulations you are a STAR! See you at STC on Monday!

Posted On: 16 Jun 2012 03:04 pm

Just read your last blog and I'm soo happy you made it. Bet that was the longest week of your life, it was mine and I'm just sitting here following it all!! Big Congratulations xxx

Posted On: 16 Jun 2012 02:46 pm

Ha ha! When you described the scene at the camp, it makes me want to be there - very strange I know, but you'll know what I mean about a month from now. It's when you've pushed yourself so far and so hard, that the little things in life become so much more real, and gives you so much more pleasure. Hat to describe but I'm sure you'll know what I mean :) Well done again, Ms Ho. I'm so very impressed with your grit. The shower at the hotel must have been lush. See you soon xx

Posted On: 16 Jun 2012 02:12 pm

Ms Ho! I visit your blog nearly everyday because it inspires me so much! but I always don't know what to 'add comment' about! but now i really want to congratulate you and i'm extremely happy for you!!!!! :DDD all the best!!

Posted On: 16 Jun 2012 01:52 pm

Well done, Wendy. What a fantastic achievement!

Posted On: 16 Jun 2012 01:45 pm

a huge congratz Wendy! You must be soooo happy with yourself. Looking fwd to hearing the stories during summer school.

Posted On: 16 Jun 2012 05:03 am

Well done Wendy! You must be so exhausted right now, but also really high from having completed one of the most difficult races in the world. You are fab! An inspiration to the students not to give up when the going gets tough. Now you are ready for anything even the next desert race.

Posted On: 16 Jun 2012 02:44 am

Well done, Wendy. Impressive time for the long day, especially with the sand and rainstorm and how long the previous day was for you. Put me to shame for being so slow on the long day in Jordan. I never had any doubt from the day you told me you were considering Gobi that you would finish triumphantly. Why do we do it again? Well, just reading your description of people hobbling around camp on the rest day, I was thinking: damn, I really miss that! I want to be there right now. It's just a great feeling to find out again and again that you are stronger than you think, mentally and physically, and to share the experience with like-minded people. It's addictive. Hugs from Hong Kong and stuff your face at the banquet.

Posted On: 16 Jun 2012 02:06 am

You are on your way to the finish line as I write this! I'm sure it has been a hell of a journey and that your blog describes only a fraction of it. I look forward to hearing all of your stories. Sounds like there will be lots of dinners at ABC Kitchen, pencil one in for August now! Just want to tell you again how proud I am of you. But better yet, I'm glad to hear that you've learned things about yourself through this whole experience. You've met your big challenge to yourself and your goals for the race - I hope you are basking in that glow. Enjoy your pizza and beer, and savor your hot shower!! xoxo Darlene

12 June 2012 06:03 am (GMT+08:00) Beijing, Chongqing, Hong Kong, Urumqi

I struggled badly today and almost gave up at one point after check point 3. The feet were aching but I was coping with it but just going slowly. I had trouble breathing and felt nausea, every step I took I was breathless. I think its due to the altitude as we are now at 2500m, alot of runners found it difficult today and the cut off time to reach camp was abit tight. I only made it because my lovely tent mate walked with me and encouraged me all the way from the last checkpoint. I was on the verge of tears and constantly telling myself not to give up, I was not in pain but I just couldn't get enough oxygen in to make each step. The terrain was an endless rocky field through these canyons which pounded my blistered feet, we were going up and down all these rocky hills and it was endless, I was too tired to appreciate the scenary and had to focus all my energy in making each step.

I made it to camp but bursted into tears infront of everyone, it was rather emotional time. I am quite embarrassed now! People were so nice to me when I arrived with my tent mate, they got me water and carried my bag to the tent. We were even given a treat today a can of pepsi:) Some people did  withdraw today. I am glad that I survived the day but only just however I am quite concerned about tommorow though as its walking at altitude and the route is going to be very up and down. Fingers crossed.

I haven;t read any messages yet as I am writing this as this laptop is write only. So sorry can;t reply to any of your questions.

Pack will at least be a bit lighter for tommorow so hopefully I will be able to make it, they will be making the cut off times generous as it will be the hardest day and quite technical.

I have new blisters today as expected two on the heel and some little ones developing on the toes so will need to give them a poke to drain the fluid. My feet are almost bound like a mummy with all the taping!! I am feeling alright overall aching offcourse.Hopefully an early night after my delicous chicken korma yum yum and I should feel better to start.

Ok better go and have my dinner and tend to my precious feet.

wish me luck:)

Very very very well done Wendy. I have been closely following the your progress in the last couple of days. Reading the blogs in this website has simply been inspirational. Amazing stuff! Really! Your journey across the Gobi puts my training to total shame!! Now that the hardest part of the course is over, I bet that you will wake up tomorrow feeling that you can run the last stage of the race! Congratulations. Your medal is within reach.

Hi Wendy, I do not know you but I read your blog when I am following my friend, Cheung Leong's progress. Really touched with your Stage 3 story, great that you are on target to complete the mission! 加油!

I am SO proud of you. So, so proud. Insanely proud. And then some. You said you want to come in top 20 in the women's category, and guess what? You are #20 in the female category! Well done on completing the Long March stage. But hey, it's NOT over yet. Remember that. You get a day of rest today, so remember to drink, keep up with the electrolytes, eat plenty, but you mind cannot tell the body that it's over. It's NOT. You have one more stage to go, and then you can celebrate, ok? Enjoy the rest day for now, and keep those legs elevated. xx

I, too am a blog junkie! I was checking all day for a recap of Stage 4 since like Denvy I got the "breaking news" email, first thing this morning and the uploads seem to be delayed. But by now you've started the long day. You've got this in the bag, Ho. You'll be done with stage 5 by the time you read this. You ROCK!! So proud of you! Looking forward to hearing some news from you. Xoxo

Posted On: 14 Jun 2012 03:54 am

Hi Wendy, I know it's tough but you're doing a great job. Reading your blog is like being there with you. Know that you have lots of support back at home... keep listening to your music and ignore what your feet are telling you, you can do this. Sounds like you're surrounded and encouraged by a lot of good positive people.. keep smiling... onwards and forward! Sonia x

Posted On: 14 Jun 2012 01:57 am

Wendy, where are you? No blog. Boohoo. This fan is anxious. Anyway, you will be done with the long day when you see this. I'm sure you have rocked it. I have this mental image of that Duracell-powered rabbit. This is your strong suit. You just go on and on and on. Really looking forward to your recap of the stage.

Posted On: 14 Jun 2012 01:40 am

You've got such tremendous endurance !! Hang in there!! XX

Posted On: 14 Jun 2012 12:56 am

I am subscribed to the Gobi breaking news (but of course) and I got this email update: "Wendy Ho of the United Kingdom was the most recent through at 17:19, saying, 'The scenery when you are up there on the peaks is absolutely beautiful. I'm feeling good.'" I am SO proud of you. That's how you tackle this, Ms Ho! You have my secret now :) I know it has been a long day for you... if at 5:19pm you are still CP 3, which means you probably got back to camp at 9pm? I hope you rested well, as today is the long day! But hey, you've pulled through Day 1-4 so brilliantly, there is no doubt that you will finish spectacularly. I am cheering you on from HK. By the time you get this, the long day is over, and you only have one more day to go. I want to say - WELL DONE, you rock and you deserve all the dim sum you can eat! :) xx

Posted On: 14 Jun 2012 12:55 am

GO Wendy! I have faith in you to complete stage 4 and the rest of the race. You CAN do it! Don't give up! I hope you are feeling better today after a night's rest. You will become stronger (i know this may sound strange, but you WILL!)as you move from one stage to the next. Oh, can i call you Superwoman or the Wendy the Ring Bearer when you return? GOOD LUCK!

Posted On: 13 Jun 2012 02:41 pm

Go gobi one kanobi! May the force be with you. Michael and I are cheering you on from afar and wish you well on your long hike tomorrow. I've already bought you a celebration card and am going to shout you to dinner at a place of your choice (or dinner at Casa Battaini). Don't let us down. Haha! We really wish you success! Fi and Michael

Posted On: 13 Jun 2012 01:53 pm

Ms. Ho, YOU are truly an inspiration for us all! We know you will stay strong and just take each step one at a time and you will finish in no time! I say massive celebration lunch afterschool someday when you're done!

Posted On: 13 Jun 2012 01:20 pm

Keep going Wendy, you are mentally much stronger than you think! This was just a tiny blip and one bad day and I am sure that by now your fighting spirit has returned and you KNOW you can do this. Just think what an amazing achievement this will be. You trained so hard and the end is within reach. It's wonderful to hear how supportive your fellow competitors are and this must make all the difference, so take any help when it is offered - it may be YOU who will be offering THEM the mental and physical support at the next stage! As Meiling said, the champagne is on ice...so keep at it! I am so proud to be your buddy and am praying for you all the way! :-) X

Posted On: 13 Jun 2012 12:11 pm

Keep it up Wendy! "Lo Lik Gar Yull!" Hands on hips, breath out through your mouth but breath in through your nose. Stretch a lot before and after and just keep remembering the lovely roast pork and pavlova waiting for you at ABC when you come back. You can do it Wendy72kanobi! "MN SAY DUCK, LO LIK GAR YULL!" We're all praying for you. We know you can make it. We have a bottle of champagne ready.

Posted On: 13 Jun 2012 06:28 am

Great work Wendy. Keep it up. What an amazing story you will be able to tell.

Posted On: 13 Jun 2012 05:57 am

Hey partner, you are amazing!!! Way to keep going!! Sounds like today was rough but I know how strong and tough you are. Hang in there and take it step by step. You are pushing yourself to your mental, physical and emotional limits. And that is simply awesome. Bundle those feet up good and Keep on going! I know you can do it, strong woman. Mind over matter. We all believe in you.

Posted On: 13 Jun 2012 04:28 am

One more thing, Ms Ho: When you're done with this Gobi nonsense, we'll have a big celebration in HK. Think of all the dim sum you can eat :D xx

Posted On: 13 Jun 2012 03:44 am

I hope you are doing well mum! I know you will finish tomorrow and remember to stay safe!!! Keep going!

Posted On: 13 Jun 2012 03:00 am

Hi Wendy Just read your whole experience so far in one go and I am totally awestruck. Wow!!!! So impressed that you are in such good spirits and a good sob never hurts anyone! Will be thinking of you today as you whip up and down those hills with your freshly bound and padded feet. Take care and speak soon x

Posted On: 13 Jun 2012 02:45 am

You're a trooper, Ms Ho. Hang in there. I'm thinking of you and sending you plenty of good vibes as you go through today's technical stage. Tomorrow is the long day, and in some ways it may be easier but also harder. But you know what? You'll get through it. The humidity in HK is ten times worse than what you are going through now in the Gobi. You will get through this, and you can. You absolutely can. I have complete faith in you. Take it one step at a time, then one pink flag at a time, then one CheckPoint at a time. You will be at the finish line :) xx

Posted On: 13 Jun 2012 02:28 am

Hey Ho - Keep going woman - you are awesome. Grit your teeth and get through it. You CAN and WILL do it!!! We all have complete faith in you.

Posted On: 13 Jun 2012 02:10 am

I'm so proud of you, Wendy; you are so strong! The race isn't about finishing fast; it's about going beyond your physical limits and the power of the mind over your body. Hopefully altitude won't be so much of a problem tomorrow and you will be fine. Keep going, Ho, and remember there's always a pack of warm food waiting for you when you get back.

Posted On: 13 Jun 2012 01:56 am

Nonsense! You will never quit cause you are WENDY HO, the coolest mom! Well, some people may be ridiculously consistent and fit. But the truth is the majority of us hit the rock bottom one of the days on the course. That's when we say NEVER AGAIN, which we forget overnight. Judging from people's finishing time yesterday, you were far from alone. So step on the gas already and storm to the finish in the next few days in your finest form. Just think how welcoming that chorus of snore is at camp and you will be there in no time. Haha. Who needs luck when you are a tough cookie?

11 June 2012 05:57 am (GMT+08:00) Beijing, Chongqing, Hong Kong, Urumqi

Ok stage 2 over and done with, it was a long day today in extreme heat maybe 40 degrees celsuis or more.Quite up and down with amazing views across the mountains, we walked through these red valleys which looked like a scene from Mars!

It was tough day and I have to report that I have two blisters and my bunions are hurting despite taping. My pack weight was maybe down to 9kgs after eating the one dinner and breakfast, I am not really eating all my snacks on course finding it a bit awkward but draining the energy paste drink though!!!

Feeling ok but legs do hurt and have to makesure that I properly tape my feet. I have put on the compression tights today for recovery it was a bit embarssing as there was not much privacy so had to hide behind the tent.

The heat was pretty extreme today and walking through constant rocky terrain was killing the feet. I felt alright but thoughts about tommorow and how I will cope was constantly whizzing through my mind. We'll see what happens:(

Thanks you for the messages again. Nothing interesting to report, not eating any spicy meals!!!! Have made friends with the two Spanairds in my tent and they have a solar charger so don;t need to ration the music now:)

Gotta go people waiting and I am frying like an egg in the sunny part of the cybertent! Excuse the grammar and spelling mistakes!

Hope everyone is doing alright in HK

over and out from the Gobi

Wendy you are doing brilliantly - keep it up - YOU CAN DO IT (dont even contemplate otherwise). Your results are amazing and you should be feeling chuffed to bits. You have the HO factor - amazonian strength, grit and determination - express those genes :-)

Posted On: 12 Jun 2012 08:10 am

Yo ho! Finally joined your blog :-) Wow, the photos of the place look amaaaazing, hope you are really taking in all of that wonderful scenery to keep your mind off the aches and pains! But can't find you in any of the pics - so are you really out there?! ;-) And I thought the yoga conference I was at last weekend was tough......doesn't even come close! And it sounds like all those canto pop-infused spin classes have been paying off then, Kelvin would be proud ;-) Great to hear you have endless hours of tunes to keep you going, I know how important that would be to me as well!! Keep up the fantastic work and let me know soon how the wildlife situation is panning out......xx

Posted On: 12 Jun 2012 08:07 am

Keep going; you've been walking for about 36 years so it should be easy. At least the view is better than the concrete bank :-)

Posted On: 12 Jun 2012 07:48 am

Well Wendy72konobi, I am very impressed and rather jealous that you are out there in the wild whilst I am doing all the Y10 and Y12 reports. I guess we have different challenges to deal with:) Sorry is solar charger for a code that I don't remember? Ha ha!

Posted On: 12 Jun 2012 07:39 am

So proud of you Ms Ho. So so proud of you. You're a trooper and you know it. Remember our 20km walk with the Where's Wally gang? :) you had a nasty blister but you grit your teeth and completed it, an all the while shouting "Where's Wally?". You're almost halfway there so stay strong. It's all a mental game from now on. Am thinking of you!! xx

Posted On: 12 Jun 2012 06:54 am

Hi Wendy, You're doing wonderfully, take care of those legs and enjoy your chicken tika.. good to hear you don't have to ration your music, a little dancing along the way should help you forget about those sore legs. Sonia x

Posted On: 12 Jun 2012 04:32 am

Ho. I'm addicted to your blog. It's like watching a soap and I feel like I can't wait for the next episode. More toilet detail and tent intrigue please!! Good news that you're already 80k down and still in relatively good condition. Remember, it's not the destination that counts; it's the journey. Enjoy each step and remember, if you want something, the whole universe conspires in helping you to achieve it. (From the Alchemist to the Biologist).

Posted On: 12 Jun 2012 04:30 am

Ms. Ho! Have I told you how proud of you I am? You're doing awesome! As Bei said, take it one step at a time, one checkpoint at a time, one day at a time. You're strong and we are all rooting for you! (out here in California, too) xoxo from the Lees

Posted On: 12 Jun 2012 02:56 am

Ms. Wendy, what happens in the desert stays in the desert. So flash and dash. Don't be shy. Hahaha. I mean, you could change in your sleeping bag. Your muscles will adapt as the days go by, except the day after the long day, when it will hilariously hurt but by then the race is pretty much over. By night of the rest day, you will chuck the "never again" refrain and start thinking which one of the races to sign up for next. So for now, just think one checkpoint at a time and don't worry about longer term. You are doing great and sound quite positive. Keep it up and we're all rooting for you here in Hong Kong. Btw, you look great in those checkin photos!

10 June 2012 05:43 am (GMT+08:00) Beijing, Chongqing, Hong Kong, Urumqi

Hello all,

Made it to stage 1 woohoo:) Quite happy with the time and very happy that I have no casaulties on the feet yet and I am not last!!

The weather was hot but not as hot as expected with a high of 32 degrees celsius, the course was alright it was rated as easy today, very rocky with a couple of river crossings. We are not going to get any sand dunes at all but just alot of fine dust!! I had problems with the windy conditions and it was so dry so had to constantly apply lip balm and the eyeballs quite drying up!!

I rationed myself to only 10 songs on the IPOD so saving the juice for the harder bits later. Apparently the weather is looking to get hotter this week. They had to change the course abit due to heavy rains from the previous week and tommorow its going to be longer than 40KM!

Camplife is interesting! Toliets are as expected with over 160 runners on dehydrated food, power bars and gels so it takes getting used to!!

Tonight we are not staying in a tent but in some kind of village hall/house so I kind of have a bed which is fab. Last night I was the last one to fall alsleep in the tent amongst 10 people, there was a whole chorus of snoring going on hopefully better sleep tonite.

Many thanks for the messages guys keep them coming, it is very encouraging. There was a point today where I felt crap as the dusty road kept going on and on, the wind was howling and my stomach was growling :( I pulled thru and feel as good as gold now and almost looking forward to my denydrated chicken tikka dinner!!!

You are doing great, Wendy! Enjoy the race and stay safe.

You are sooooo fast, Ho!! Paul says it's best to go backwards on the leaderboard, but we had to scroll up for ages before we got to your name today. Think we should have a dehydrated food party when you get back. Keep plodding, tough cookie! BTW - this site is way better than Facebook.

Hi, Wendy. Don't worry too much about being the last to fall sleep. You will find out how little you can get away with and even thrive on. Gene taught me that last year. And I kept reminding myself of it in Jordan this time. The funny thing is the less you stress over it, the better you sleep. I didn't use sleeping pills at all this year. It will get hot later in the week, perhaps a lot hotter. But you are a tough cookie. This is going to be a piece of cake compared to bringing up a child alone. Sending you love and hugs!

Hola muchacha, thinking of you...a lot! Que tal? Bet you are going to say: cansada! But hey, it is worth it! Keep un ojo en los zorros and make sure los tallarines estan cocidos. Sending you lots of healing energy ! Besos!

Congratulations Wendy! Looks like the river crossing in Action Asia was worth it for preparing you for the race. Lucky bugger having dry wind its so horribly humid in Hong Kong right now. Saw the picture of you in the photos looking good so far. Remember the song."Ain't no mountain high enough.. ain't no river wide enough..."

Hello all,

Have arrived at camp1 ready to start tomorrow morning. A beautiful campsite with rolling hills around but pretty rocky and windy so got to be careful with the flipflops , don’t want to break the foot before I even start!

I was paranoid about meeting hardcore people but fortunately I have met quite a few newbies like myselfJ My tentmates are cool and I will practice my Spanish very soon once I warm up!!!!

Right I see there is a queue starting up for some treats: watermelon,  so got to go now can’t miss out on the fruitJ

Wendy

I can’t believe it’s only 12 days till I leave for the Gobi; it’s a rather frightening thought. Friends, students and colleagues are asking if I am ready and I am not quite sure that I am!

I will spare you the details of my training but it is consistent.  I am not hard-core in anyway therefore I do wonder at times if I am set up to compete in a 250KM race across the desert? This is really my first major race in my life so talk about throwing yourself into the deep end!

My goal of the Gobi March is simply to enjoy the experience and to cross the finish line. I also hope that my students can be inspired by this; to challenge themselves to do something out of the ordinary and to grasp the opportunity where they are able to push themselves to the limit both physically and mentally.

My son Hansen continues to think I am a lunatic to embark on such a race!  He helped me out the other night counting, weighing and labelling the range of dehydrated food  and he is in disbelief that I am will be eating such a small amount of food-approximately 2000 calories per day  as I am normally a bit of a pig when it comes to food. I reckon my belly will suffer more than my feet during the race! Secretly I think Hansen is proud that I am doing this and maybe even brags about me in front of his friends!?

The group “Race for Welfare” (like us on Facebook) my students set up  at school to raise funds for the charity Child Welfare Scheme Nepal have almost  reached our goal. Our target is to raise funds to support one of the Day Care health Centres run by CWS in the rural villages of Pokhara. The students have been especially proactive in their fundraising through events at school and promoting the sponsorships of me competing in the Gobi March. Well Done guys
