Well we started stage three with low temps and a fine drizzle which became a freezing rain and them some awesome hail... We were freezing climbing for about 10-12kms over rocky hills and some more dry river bed crossings surrounded by snow capped mountains...unfortunately my knee really packed up this day and after finishing stage three had to say a no go to the rest of the Gobi March... Was so sad but had a great time and what an amazing adventure and met some amazing people from all over the world....Forecast was so bad for this night that they moved our camp to yurts instead of our tents to try and keep us dry... On way home now and just wanted to say thanks so much to all for your amazing support and emails along the way! It really has meant so much to hear from you all every night...

What a hard 39km ….feeling better now that we rested and have some cup of soup in tum..getting everyones emails thanks so much guys. I’ve been to the medic tent three time got bad blisters and knee paining. All pauls ailments are at bay…todays day had lots of tufted rocky grass going up and down into dried river beds was long. But tomorrow another day and its going to be hard. Tons of climbing, swing bridges (my fav) and I’m sure more rocks, what an adventure. Hope you are well at home. Well done Marianne on finishing comrades!
Updste tomorrow again.
Cheers all

We are now down to 68 days until we begin the massive challenge of running across the Gobi desert. With this amazing experience ahead of us we are running with a charity in mind which is Ingane Yami Childrens Village. The vision of Ingane Yami is to house 150 children. The ethos behind this initiative is to rescue a child, rebuild a family and raise a leader. Please help us by getting behind this amazing vision, your donations can help these kids reach their full potential

5 days left to go and I cannot begin to tell you how proud I am of you Dessie! When it gets tough out there, think back to the days on the beach front where running from lamp post to lamp post was a challenge! Look how incredibly far you have come! You will never be far from my thoughts. Tons of love thoughts and prayers over the next two weeks! Xxxxxxxx ursh
