Super solid bro! So so proud of you. Long march is super tough as I read other participants blog of which some pulled out at this stage. You can do it.....last 9km! Looking forward for your return bro! God bless!

By now, it should be the celebration of crossing the finishing line. It is the belief and faith you have to put forward each step despite circumstances strange. You have definitely taught us a lot more than the atacama crossing itself. Welcome back soon

Every stage is getting tougher, and that should be the case with the body getting very tired.

2 long stretches of 8-10km where you can only think of putting 1 foot in front of the other. Sang hymns, fellowship songs, NDP songs and even school songs.

Thank God once again for being able to start stage 2, and also being able to complete the course.

Taking care of the sprained ankle, thanks Chin, I started off tentative. The 1st10km was like testing the ankle and it was also therapeutic. 8km of crossing streams that are knee-length depth. The water was really cold. We crossed about 15 to 20 of those. Challenging and tough!

For the rest of the course, it is by far the most difficult race to date. Can you imagine covering each 10km in 1hr 59mins, 1hr 47mins, 1hr 52mins...we did 44km today. All the slopes and the terrain made it extremely difficult to run.

It is 4.30pm now and got to go wash up and let the ankle rest.

Thank you once again to all for your prayers and support. Please continue to pray for me.

Hey Mr koh! Congrats in pulling through stage 2! Well done:) Rest well today. You can do it for stage 3 too! Tough is fun:p Ganbatte!

04 October 2015 06:49 am (GMT+08:00) Kuala Lumpur, Singapore

Stage 1 is done and I am thankful to God for seeing me through.

I started with a bang and a literal one - twisted my left ankle at the 2ndkm. Within 5 mins, twisted the same ankle again. My heart sank almost immediately thinking that I may have to be out of the entire.

After shaking it off, almost walking the whole way thereafter, I felt as if the injury went away. Just as I was about to approach Checkpoint 2 (21km mark), the big one came, twisted the same ankle the 3rdtime. I was quite sure it will be game over this time. The pain was really unbearable. Had to rest at the CP to have my ankle checked and taped. Praying it will be well tomorrow.

One special highlight! The upslope was never seen before. 25km to 32km was all the way up, and it was very tough. Thank God for strength.

Thank you all for your concern and prayers. "See"you tomorrow!

I will jump straight to the final leg of preparation for Atacama.

Today is the start of the last 5-day training programme (already did 2) before my departure for Chile next week. Tough it may seems but it was good. Carrying a 8kg backpack is definitely not easy (managing the haze in Singapore too).
