Wow! The long march completed and in another amazing time. You are superwoman (always known that, but this...!). What a Journey! Can't wait to see all the pics. You have taken the road less travelled, for sure, and it will have made all the difference. Enjoy the last 10km! Xxxx

What a fantastic adventure Harriett. I just caught up on all you blogs and am blown away by your strength, perseverance and resilience - what a journey this will have been for you. I am sure all the time alone, the places you need to go to - to call on strength that you may not think you have, the equal parts elation and exhaustion as you finish each leg will leave an indelible mark on your life and I'm sure others who like me are just watching form the sidelines in pure awe of your courageous spirit! Best of luck in last leg....

After a journey that seemed like an endurance event in itself, I at last arrived in San Pedro de Atacama ahead of the start of the race on Sunday.

It was an emotional departure

Harriet - hope all is going well and you are feeling good. I bumped into Jamie and aoife in Berko this weekend. Aoife gave me a huge grin when I asked if she was proud of her amazing mum. I am sure we were in SPdeA on our travels many years ago - don't think this was ever mentioned back then!! (Although I recall pizza and an outdoor fire). Look forward to hearing about how it's going in the blog. lots of love mila and the Sythes boys Xxx
