During morning briefing today, we were so proud that Five Legs Never Quit was the fastest team amongst all team!! We were given the precious yellow bib!!

Day 3 is another tough day, not much climbing up, but the terrain is the worst of all 3 days. We feel like walking on frozen broccoli all day. It

Hi! Honey, glad to know that your team get the first place and you all have a safe day after 11hrs tough journey. You are in the 4th day race now. It's great that your team all get through half of the journey. Keep going and see you soon! Tonight is the last night at home before seeing you. I know the kids are having their own worries when I have to leave them. But they all behave strong and try their best to cope. I feel proud of their courage to face the uncertainty and to lead an independent life when we are not by their side.

Add oil daddy! Did your team have any big problems while walking today? Did you run for most of the time? If not, how did you become the champion? Be happy that you got 1st place today! Enjoy today's happiness the whole time you are racing. Miss you daddy! :O :D

Boss, keep going and enjoy the racing.

Day 2...it's long, tough, long and tough

Day 2 is 44km, much longer than day 1, and we all have ups and downs today.

After some glue and tape, Fung's leg's was fixed and ready to go this morning. The first 2 stages are challenging, river crossing, lots of uphill and SAND DUNE!!! But we all have fun and you might see in official photos and video. However the last 2 stages are horrible. Long, long, long, feet killing terrain all the way the last 22km.

When we cross the finishing line, Brazilian TV channel ask how does feel, he said "I just want to die!"

Mrs. Fung is really an angel, she's taking care of Mr. Fung all the way during the race, better than a personal assistance. Our tent-mates all making jokes, said no one can convince their wife to come to the desert and run together, to convince a wife to join, may be the most impossible mission for Ethan Hunt.

I'm so lucky to have my wife come to meet me in the desert twice.

It's a really long day for us and we finished late. Need to rush for dinner now.

Bye

Day 1, 36km, we decent from 3200m to 2400m and the climb up to our camp at 2665m alt. 37'c from 2pm on ward till 4pm when the uphill road seems never end. It's tough for all of us, even Fung Sir said hard to manage the loose rock and sand terrain, whatever, we completed in good time :D

After passing the finish line today, Fung sir said, "I have 7 dreams, and my first dream come true today!"

Mrs. Fung said, "Please give us more support! The race is so tough, hard than her expectation, but happy that Day 1 is completed without any injury."

Mrs. Fung is right, Atacama Crossing is always regarded as the toughest amongst the all 4 deserts race. I haven't seen a cloud whole day, so we have un-obstructed sunlight all day from sunrise till sunset...after this race, presumably we don't need any further vitamins D supplement.

Sky & Walker, thanks for your special encouragement letters to me. Day 1 finished, so I read the first letters from both of you.

Walker, you are very correct "Taking a new step into a new World is what most people are scared of. Courage is the power to let go of the people that you're familiar with." Daddy was thinking about the same thing when I was walking today. I believe Walker you have daddy's courage to explore new World, try new things just like Daddy.

Sky I like your quote too, "An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. When life is dragging you back with difficulties, just imagine that it's going to launch you into something great J"Daddy had hard time today too especially when daddy was going uphill under 37'c under strong heat and the road seems endless. I don't look up, I look down, watching every step I made and focus only on each step I made, after a while, my feet pain gone, my shoulder pain gone and I regain energy to carry on with my race.

I want to say thank you to my colleagues in my office, taking care all office matters for me to enable to join this race.

Thanks everyone support our race and especially for your generous donations! Every dollar counts, please don

Atacama Crossing 2015 starts in 3 weeks time. I'll be back in desert, walking, jogging and running 7 days, totally self support in one of the driest places on Earth, Atacama. Friends all know that I'm an enthusiastic photographer, I'm really looking forward to see the natural beauty of the place and unique landscape in the San Pedro, place where my race will begin.
