This weekend I went to train at the Valle Nevado (Chile) to 3,000 m altitude and with the backpack. It was my first workout with the backpack and it was good. This week I start training every day with the pack for adaptation. I return at the end of the week with more news! You can look at the pictures and videos on my facebook.Regards. Jeison Costa.

Hi friends, on the last weekend, I was competing in a 84km Ultra Marathon in Brazil.
The race was made 100% by the sands of the southern coast of Brazil.
I finished the race in 7hs29min, and was the fourth place.
My idea was to make the race as training for the Atacama Crossing in a month, but I felt good during the race and conquered the fourth in the last kilometers.
Thank

Very nice, see you in the Atacama. Best regards.

Your race sounds like the Sahara Race but without the ocean. I am the event director for the Atacama Crossing and will definitely be there. I love South America.

Thank you very much, Brazil is really incredible, but I'm Brazilian.
The route of the race was on a beach, named Torres, to another beach named Tramandai.
84km just sand.
You go to the Atacama Crossing in March?

Hi, some days I do not say anything about my training.
Last week was a great week, with a large volume and a long run of 5 hours on Saturday.
I felt very solid and comfortable, which makes me very trustful.
Tonight I have 2 x 20km training and on Sunday I will compete in a Half Marathon Cross Country. www.salomonxtrail.cl
Next week I'll tell you the result. Best regards.

Hello friends, the training weekend was hard, but I finished well.
During the past week I had a little discomfort in my right calf, but apparently, was not anything serious.
This will be a week of supercompesation, but with a considerable volume.
During the week I will publish my trainning.
Have a great week everyone.
Best regards.
Jeison Costa.

Hi, Jeison! I looked generally at the site. The landscape is amazing! I was thrilled looking at some pictures of the arrival of 2011. They spend an inexplicable force. As they say here in the South, or even a "nag", but maybe one day even be able to reach large distances. Not so big, I think. I'm rooting for you, my imaginary friend! :)
