Howard, Your blog caught the spirit of things. It was great to be with you and to hear about what a terrific person you are from Jack, whom spoke your praises the final 6 miles of the long stage. He and I brought it home together that long, cold, dark night. Congrats. Tom Gallagher [email protected]

Well, Howard, who needs toenails anyway! So I see after Stage 3 you are 6th overall and less than 2 minutes out of 5th place after over 19 hours of fun. The average age of the 5 in front of you is 34 vs your ancient 48. The average age of the top 4 is only 31. So what this tells me is...YOU'RE KICKIN ASS!!! Keep up the great work. We'll send you some Vaseline and extra skin if you need it.
