With 5 days to go to the start of the race, I'm very excited for this experience to begin.  I've got all of my gear in order, and my pack is weighing in at 17.5 lbs.  I've tapered back my mileage to 40 miles last week, and this week I'll probably only get 25-30 miles in, but the upside of the decrease in mileage is that my legs feel more rested and healed than they have in months.   I'll use this space to keep everyone abreast of how each stage unfolds.  So check back often starting on March 29th.  Thank you so much to everyone for the kind wishes, and  for the donations that were so generously given to the Clinic of Angels.
