Strong! Well done Rich. Sounds brutal. Sorry to hear Lisa didn't make the end. Brings back strangely fond memories hearing about the pain battle! Fantastic effort.

After a really challenging day 2, I was really happy to hear that we would get a decent run out for the majority of this stage starting with hard packed surface and then some uneven terrain just like manly to spit in Sydney.

Oh yea man !! I can only begin to imagine the kind of strategies in that mind of yours right now !! Climbing up the ranks slow and steady .. hydration every 15-20 mins or so would definately enhance your performance ! Keep getting it bro .. sending some good vibes to those salt flats

Fantastic to hear you are going strong Rich. 29th place is amazing! You and Lisa inpsire me hugely I went to sign up for an ultra trail-run today. A baby 50km compared to yours! great going Rich, I read about the river running in icy cold water, they are not making it easy for you, spending the rest of the run in soggy shoes must have been hard, no wonder you got some blisters, keep going strong, very proud of you and really enjoying neing able to 'participate' xxxxx
