You are doing so amazing. I cannot believe this stage and its length - 45 miles. I get tired DRIVING 30 miles to Madison. We are supporting you and hope that you burn up that desert trail. Apple and Sophie are really supporting you also. Cannot wait for the results of this stage,

Meg you are such an inspiration! I get winded from walking down the stairs. I am so inspired I am going to buy running shoes today. I don't think I'll actually run with them...but it's a good first step. Good luck on your remaining stages!

I'm so happy you made it with such a great attitude through Stage 3. I was reading about it, and they said it was one of the toughest days. You have an amazing attitude that will get you through the next couple days. I cannot wait until you can get back on Facebook messenger and tell Elisabeth and I all the amazing things that you have done. It's so cool that they take all these pictures to have as memories as well. I've been telling anyone I can about how amazing you are. Everyone says you are crazy, and I proudly agree. Love you! #teammeg #proudofmycrazysister

Lordy Lordy look who is # 40! Okay so rankings really don't mean much in an experience like this...except it tells the world what an incredibly accomplished and strong person you are for taking on this challenge. Ah, the sand dunes. Judith and I hiked them in southern CO this summer and it was like quick sand. Be well and keep up the good work! Jon

Congrats!! I'm in awe of what you are doing! Love that you are meeting so many great people and enjoying their company! Love seeing the pictures of you running side by side with various people as they also get to enjoy your wonderful company. I'm now inclined to get myself to Whole Foods, buy them out of frozen broccoli to see how that feels like...weird, Meghan! Weird!! Your dinner sounds delightful and hope you got that blister taken care of. Thank you so much for the updates!! Enjoy today and the salt flats. Man, what an adventure you are having! Enjoy. XOXO! And for the cheers: You got this! You can do it! Keep going!! Whoo!! You 're looking great (You really are! In all of the pictures, you're looking strong and fantastic and like you are having the time of your life.)

It's awesome that you are enjoying your adventure so far. Keep up those high and happy spirits and use the camaraderie to keep you there. I'm thoroughly enjoying following you on this journey and checking the website for updates and all the pictures to see if you pop up in them (like the pre-race picture where they showed you with a caption - "worried looks" -haha). It's fun doing this from the other side where I get an e-mail in the morning that your stage has started and then updates throughout my workday and all through the end of the day until your stage has finished. And during all this time, you're running through desert and canyons and river crossings and soon salt flats and more. What you're doing is amazing. Enjoy those freeze dried meals until you're sick of them the last day and can eat like a queen at a fast food place once you're back too civilization!

Meghan, Jon and I were talking about you over dinner and how far you've come. Who knew that you'd find yourself in the desert untertaking such a mind blowing feat? Well, we could only compare you to Scott Jurek. So there. You're our elite dear friend and running buddy. Doing amazing things, and inspiring us. Left foot, right foot. Can't wait to see you finish this thing. Sending you strength and cowbells from Denver. xoxo
