 Dear my supporters

Thank you for many supporting letters.

I am sorry that I cannot run anymore during the 3rd stage.
Because I cannot eat or drink anything because of extremely hot conditions.
In the 2nd stage, I could manage the race in the former,  but at the 3rd check point, when I leave it, I suffered from vomiting, So Dr told me not to go ahead.
After taking a rest, my condition was recover, so I could the goal of 2nd stage.
After the goal, I tried to care my condition, and it was a little better this morning.
But today is also extremely hot, I cannot drink or eat again on the way, so I decided to stop the race.

The weather condition<extremely hot>is much more tough than I expected.
But the cause of my failure was basically lack of training and preparation.
I did I my best, but I  must have trained hard and have more time for preparation.
I have no regret.

Again, your msgs were very very supporting me.
I really really want to say to you  <Thank you for warm msgs>.

Sincerely,

Masa

HI Masa, you did an amazing job, more than 99.99999 percent of people in the world could do. It just wasn't meant to be this time. It happens to all of us from time to time. I am sure you will be back. You have absolutely added so much to the spirit of the race. You are the best, never change. Mary

Hey Masa, I'm Matt's wife (number 99). My heart goes out to you after reading your blog, I'm sorry you had to pull out of the race. It sounds like you had a really tough time and battled through as much as you could. I hope you recover quickly. What you achieved is amazing, much more than any average person could imagine. You should be so proud of yourself. Take care Sara
