It was a great feeling to cross The Last Desert (Antarctica) finish line today. Stage 6 is usually a pretty easy end to a 4 Deserts race, but the sections of the course that were deep soft snow with a frozen surface were tough going. Punching through the frozen crust and sinking deep into the soft snow as I ran was a really quick way of sapping the little bit of strength that I still

Only a couple more stages and you will have reached the end of (this years) incredible journey. Seems you have saved the biggest adventure until the end. Enjoy the last bits, I am so amazed at what you have achieved. John

Good work, photos from the stages look amazing. You know you are starting to go mad when you complain that the stage gets cut short :). Do you jump in the water off the ship when you finish the race?. Alister, Kat & Ethan

Hi Allen I'm going to put things on the blog as well as the e-mail so we cannot be accused of not sending messages. Good luck hope you don't get seasick, although I remember you did sailing to spain when everyone was eating chips. The scenery in Ushaia looks amazing - no fish sausages and dandilions then???????
