A long ways to go

As I look at the calendar I realize I have "a long ways to go" until the race, as I have started my training and am limping around everywhere now I realize I have "a long ways to go" in my training. As excited as I am for the race I know I will need the time to get my training to a place it has never been before, am I up for the challenge? Absolutely!

Hi David, Really great to read your blog and I'm super exciting that you are joining us in Finland. I'm actually sending this comment from Lapland. At the moment we're enjoying purple cold polar nights here (in -20C!). As much as that's also worth experiencing it's better we are camping in summer weather :) Enjoy your training and preparations. I'm sure it will come together nicely and there's still a lot of time. If you need any tips, I'm happy to help. See you in August! Riitta
