If you’ve decided to undertake an ultra-marathon such as the 4 Deserts Race Series  you’ll be aware that nutrition is one of the most important decisions you need to make in a self-supporting race.  If you’re carrying a pack weighing up to 12kg on your back for hours on end, weight is a major consideration which is why freeze-dried food and high energy snacks are the perfect solution.  Freeze-dried meals retain the highest nutritional value at the lowest weight, giving you the opportunity to carry great tasting, high-calorie meals with you to be enjoyed at the end of a long day.
