Camp Quality
Martyn Sawyer, United Kingdom / Hong Kong

Camp Quality is a private, non-profit volunteer organization, which offers a year round camping programme of love and support for children with cancer. The charity originated in Australia in 1983 and is now operating in more than 17 locations worldwide. The Hong Kong branch was established in 1998.

When a child is diagnosed with cancer, they are often stripped of their childhood and thrust into adult world of hospitals, pain and isolation. It is the hope of Camp Quality that each camp would be so much fun that the children will eagerly anticipate their next camp. We hope that memories from these special events will sustain the children in the long weeks, months, or even years ahead as they continue their medical treatment.

Since it's establishment in 1998, Camp Quality has been playing a proactive role in organizing various camping and support programs for children with cancer in Hong Kong and China. Through our psychosocial support, the charity has rendered an invaluable program for these children and their families.
