She has raced in over 30 countries as a world-class professional triathlete for twelve years and an elite international adventure racer since the sport's inception in the U.S. in 1995. Terri has shared her personal experiences, research, and expertise through her work as a coach and, as the invited speaker at a long list of events as well as with national and international audiences on the Discovery Channel, USA Network, high-profile talk shows, news segments, and in popular fitness and outdoor publications. This will be her first 4 Deserts event.

Scott is retired from the military and currently manages the Army Junior ROTC program at Bloomfield High School in Bloomfield, New Mexico. Scott completed the Atacama Crossing 2004 and Gobi March 2005. Through his participation in the Sahara Race 2005, Scott will be raising money for a secretary at his school and one of his students. Both suffer from serious medical conditions. One hundred percent (100%) of any money raised will go to support these individuals. The Sahara Race will be Scott's third 4 Deserts event.

He has a lot of experience in marathons, mountain climbing etc. He walked across the United States in 1999. The Sahara Race will be his first 4 Deserts challenge.

Marshall is self employed and based in the United States. He is the only person in the world to complete the Triple Crown of Extreme Sports: world class ultra runner, record setting adventure racer, and Seven Summits mountaineer. He has completed over 110 ultra and adventure races averaging over 100 miles each and a multiple record holder. He is one of three people in the world to have competed in all nine Eco Challenge adventure races and reached the summit of each of the "Seven Summits" - including Mount Everest, the highest point in the world at 29,035 feet - all on first attempts. He has also raised over $220,000 for numerous charities, including the Religious Teachers Filippini, as a part of various climbs, races, and events. This will be his first 4 Deserts event.
