Stage 4 – Rally of the Pharaoh’s

Posted 6:30am

We apologize to all you out there closely following the race. The satellite terminal went down last night only frustrating us on the media team to no end. We have been lucky so far and have only had to deal with sandy keyboards but the technology in the desert has finally got the best of us. So all the updates are going up this morning for last night. Please take a look at the Stage 3 link to get the full picture of yesterday.

Cool wind blowing this morning. If only, it could stay this way. Another marathon distance today but the start time is being moved even earlier, again to beat the heat. Race start is 5:30am. The course description says more of the same, but this time we move into the Black Desert. Much of the terrain is soft sand and small hills. Racers will start out following glow sticks since it is still pitch dark outside. Stay tuned for more posts later.
