4 Deserts Champions cross the Sahara in 111 days

Charlie Engle (United States), Kevin Lin (Taiwan) and Ray Zahab (Canada) have just crossed the Sahara from Senegal to Egypt in 111 days. The total journey from coast to coast was 4000 miles (6347 kilometers). The expedition, called 'Running the Sahara ,' will be made into a documentary by Hollywood actor Matt Damon and Hollywood producer James Moll. The website can be found at www.runningthesahara.com.

Congratulations to all three for this amazing feat! Picture above is from the finish line of the Gobi March (China) 2006.
